Help Food in Communities improve our tools
for urban agriculture in Denver!

We're hitting the ground running in 2026! The Denver Department of Public Health & Environment team within Food in Communities has developed public tools to support land access and land activation for growing food in Denver.
We want to hear from you to ground-truth these tools and learn how we can improve them to better serve your needs.
The Denver Urban Agriculture Land Inventory is an interactive map showing undeveloped land that may be suitable for agriculture. Users can find land and gain knowledge about land characteristics relevant for agricultural use. The map supports land-sharing and land transfers for agriculture. The map is also an advocacy tool showing patterns in land availability, which Food in Communities will use to design policy protecting equitable agricultural land access.

Is it easy to use? Does it have the information you want?
Share feedback using the "Give Feedback" button within the map.

The Denver Urban Agriculture Zoning Vision outlines community priorities for how Denver's zoning code can best support urban agriculture for food access and economic development. The Vision is an advocacy and accountability tool that Food in Communities will use to develop and evaluate zoning policy changes serving community priorities.
Click the blue button above to see the Vision.
Do the principles in the Vision serve your urban agriculture land activation needs, and those of your community? Is there anything you would change or add?
Share feedback by commenting or adding changes directly in the document.
