JCPH officially launches regular Land Access Coalition meetings

In January 2026, Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) officially launched the Jeffco Land Access Coalition, building on momentum and interest from the June 2025 exploratory meeting and August 2025 farmer gathering. The January kickoff brought together participants to connect, share interest in sustainable engagement, and review our Action Plan and its five strategies. The group had rich discussions about opportunities and challenges for each strategy and voted on which areas to focus on first.

The March meeting featured four breakout groups (Public-Private Partnerships & Land Access Agreements, Greenhouses, Policy & State-Level Opportunities, and Equity & Land Stewardship) allowing deeper exploration of priorities and next steps. JCPH will continue to host monthly Coalition meetings in which the land access PSE change action plan will be shaped and reshaped.
