September 2025 was Hunger Action Month

In September 2025, hunger relief efforts were recognized across the region through official proclamations. The City of Golden, City of Wheat Ridge, and City of Denver all issued proclamations declaring September as Hunger Action Month. The Jefferson County Board of Health also recognized September Hunger Action Month with a staff presentation and discussion of balancing hunger needs today with food systems change over time.
